He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Hawes (Minervini); his parents, Wilton Hawes and Marjorie Hawes (Duff); and his brother Paul Hawes. He is survived by: his children, Wilton Hawes III of Bristol, Lucinda Fisher (Brian), Jo Ellen Hawes of Terryville and Katherine Andrews (Arthur); his sisters, Marjorie "Sue" Piercy of Plainville and Shirly Drueschler; his siblings-in-law, Joe Minervini and Joan Minervini-Harvey; his grandchildren, Sean, Lauren Danielle, Justin, Nicole and Miriah; and his close friend Mike Baldwin. He is also survived by his three great-grandchildren.
