With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia J. Markowski of Broad Brook, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on March 24, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband John Markowski; her parents, Walter Zmitruk and Cecelia Zmitruk (Czarnecki); her in-laws, John and Sophie Markowski; and her brother-in-law Robert E. Colson.
She is survived by : her daughters, Pamela Markowski of Enfield and Debra Lanagan (Richard, III) of Broad Brook; her grandchildren, Angela Markowski, Hannah Lanagan and Matthew Lanagan; her sister Joan Colson of Suffield; her siblings-in-law, Barbara Sargeant (William) of Plantsville, CT, Florence Tardif of New Britain, CT and Gene Markowski (Sue) of Windsor, CT; her niece Lisa Surprenant (Colson); her nephew Robert Colson; and her aunt Wanda Zmitruk of Suffield, CT. She is also survived by several other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
