We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2023, at the age of 68, Claire M. Batchler of Brookfield, Connecticut, born in Bronx, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Fonseca and Eleanor Fonseca (DeStefano). She is survived by: her husband Brian J. Batchler; her daughters, Kathleen Hwang (Michael) of Glastonbury and Beth Debaz (Phil) of Montville, NJ; her siblings, Catherine Marshall (Robert) of Manassas, VA, Martin Fonseca (Deirdre) of Greenwich, Richard Fonseca (Georgann) of Southbury, Christopher Fonseca (Luisa) of Stamford, Edward Fonseca (Patty Vigliotti) of Bristol and Lenore Yastremski (Robert) of Danbury; and her grandchildren, Rei, Malachi, Lucy, Mary and James. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
