He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. McLaughlin II and Eleanor McLaughlin (Mullaney); and his sister Elaine McLaughlin. He is survived by: his wife Pamela; his children, James (J. C.) and Ryan (Chris Alfson); and his granddaughter Alice Alfson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the New Preston Congregational Church (15 Church St, New Preston, CT 06776). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 3:15 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
