With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Shand of Brookfield, Connecticut, born in Teaneck, New Jersey, who passed away on March 18, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lang and Florence Lang; her husband Dick; her sons, David and Stephen; and her brother Billy.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Shand (Jackie) of Gore, VA and Lisa Armstrong (Frank) of Danbury, CT; and her daughter-in-law Marie Raiti (Joe) of Rock Tavern, NY. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and her 13 great-grandchildren.
Donations in Nancy's memory may be made to St. Peter Church Restoration Fund or Ridgefield VNA Health Hospice.
