It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Jeffery Schmalbach of Brookfield, Connecticut, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schmalbach and Emilie Schmalbach (Kricher); and his nephew Ryan Rutledge. He is survived by: his family, Tracy Sebouhian (Marc) of Southbury, Anthony Rutledge (Valerie) of Southbury and Edward Rutledge (Rosella) of Brewster, NY; his children, Antonia, Avianna Sebouhian, Patrick Rutledge, Matthew and Justin Rutledge; and his friends, Claudio, Dave and Greg. He is also survived by children or siblings but is survived by his dear friends.
