He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Dorman and Gwladys Dorman (Davies); and his siblings, Dr. Brian Dorman and Beverly Soderberg. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Dorman (French); his children, Douglas A. Dorman (Sarah) of Warwick, RI, Susan E. Dorman, MD (Daniel) and Deborah D. Hay (Eric) of Arlington, VA.; and his grandchildren, Kathryn N. Dorman of Warwick, RI, Emily A. Hay, Andrew G. Hay and Elizabeth A. Hay of Arlington, VA..

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pierce Memorial Baptist Nursing Home 44 Canterbury Road Brooklyn, CT 06234.
