It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Van Flatern of Brooklyn, Connecticut, who passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Flatern and Leon Van Flatern; and his sister Carol Dauphinais of Canterbury. He is survived by: his wife June (Sulkowski); his children, Heidi (Michael), Holly Barlow (Walter) and Tracy (Amanda); and his sister-in-law Diane Crozier (Blair). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as a cousin.
