He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Zuidema (Baker); his daughter Tina Marie Zuidema; his siblings, Ethel Thatcher, William, James, Ernest and Harold Zuidema; and his parents, Ane and Fannie Zuidema (Hammond).
He is survived by: his children, Beth Hoekstra, Roland Zuidema Jr. of North Brookfield, Christine Celmer of Brimfield, John Zuidema of North Brookfield, Brian Zuidema (Michelle) of Brookfield, Cindy Andrews (Scott) of Leominster, Jennifer Zuidema of North Brookfield and Keith Zuidema (Maria) of Brooklyn, CT.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
