He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence J. Michaud and Ann Michaud (Spiett); and his sister Dale Nebelsky. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Michaud (Wilson); his children, James Michaud (Jennifer) of Bristol, Gene Michaud (Deanna) of Burlington and Jamie Kane (Bernard) of Warwick, RI.; his grandchildren, Gabriel Haley, David Michaud, Jarek Haley, Jordan Michaud, Brian Michaud and Hunter Michaud; and his nephew Robert Nebelsky.
