With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fernand A. Cote of Canterbury, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 14, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fernand A. Cote to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raoul Cote and Adelina Cote; and his wife Marie Rachel Cote. He is survived by: his daughters, Darlene Guillot (Tom), Cheryl Cote, Kathleen Joubert (Dave), Sherry Cote (Dan), Tina McCarthy, Joy Chapman (John) and Angel Cote (Maxine). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Godere - Guillot Funeral Home, Inc. (21 N 2nd Ave, Taftville, CT 06380). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
