With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria E. Scharlack of Canterbury, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Scharlack, Sr.; her parents, Roger Coombs and Ethel Coombs (Bushnell); and her son Franklyn Scharlack. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Scharlack, Jr. (Mary) and Roger Scharlack (Cathy). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dean Cemetery (104 Cemetery Rd, Canterbury, CT 06331). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Finnish Hall (76 N Canterbury Rd, Canterbury, CT 06331).
