He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stanley and Mary Geffert; his wife Ruth Alice Sattler Geffert; and his son Leonard E. Geffert, Jr.. He is survived by: his child Lenny; his niece Pat; and his pet Millie.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home ~ Canton (120 Albany Turnpike, Canton, CT 06019). The military honors was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home (129 Albany Turnpike, Canton, CT 06019).
