She was predeceased by : her parents, Earle Carter and Mary Carter (Carey); her son Frederick E. Krompegal; and her granddaughter Julianna Krompegal. She is survived by : her husband Frederick P. Krompegal; her daughters, Mary Wooten (Gary) of Miramar Beach, FL and Sheila Jarka (Tim) of Canton; her granddaughters, Melissa DeJean (Brian), Emily Jarka and Katherine Jarka; her great grandchildren, Vivian, Genevieve, Aveline and Violet DeJean; and her brother-in-law Richard Krompegal.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home - Canton (120 Albany Turnpike, Canton, CT 06019). A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church (224 Lovely St, Avon, CT 06001).
