We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2025, at the age of 78, Aart William Hoogenboom in Cheshire, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Aart William departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Aart William may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Aart William leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aart Hoogenboom and Edna Hoogenboom. He is survived by: his children, David (Jessica) of Brookfield, CT, Kevin (Maud) of Lancaster, PA and Summer (Jonathan Russell) of Somerville, MA; the mother of his children Judith Pennington; and his siblings, Nancy Beatty (Jerome) and John Hoogenboom Sr..
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Dickinson Memorial Park (50 Elm Dr, Newtown, CT 06470).
