He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Smaldone (Johnson); his children, Nick Smaldone (Anna Galazka) of Trumbull and Katie Smaldone of New Haven; his grandson Declan Anthony Smaldone; and his brother Paul Smaldone (John Thompson) of Brooklyn. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
