She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas J. O'Brien; her parents, Edward Goodwin and Loretta Goodwin; and her brother Edward C. Goodwin, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Maureen O'Brien Mashek; her son-in-law David Mashek of Pittsburgh, PA; her sons, Steven O'Brien of Haddam and Andrew O'Brien; her daughter-in-law Catherine O'Brien of East Hartland; her grandchildren, Joseph, Philip Mashek, Katherine Cohen, Megan, Colin, Lauren, Evan and Declan O'Brien; her great grandchildren, Ava and Lily Rivas; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara L. O'Brien and Phyllis Goodwin. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home (615 S Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church (175 Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410).
