With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benita C. Delane of Cheshire, Connecticut, born in Torrington, Connecticut, who passed away on March 12, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Edward Delane; her parents, Benjamin Cardegnio and Ann Cardegnio (Graziani); and her grandmother Bea. She is survived by: her children, Karen Delane Allard (Thomas) of Cheshire and Kevin Delane Sr. (Suzanne) of Rye, N. Y.; her grandchildren, Ben Allard (Taylor), Jordan Delane, Kelly Delane Cho (Justin), Jacqueline Allard, Ryan Madeline Delane and KJ Delane Jr.; and her brother Richard Cardegnio (Terri). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
