She was predeceased by: her husband Chester Thomas Zalenski of Cheshire; her parents, Giovanni Cerrato and Vittoria Cerrato; her brothers, Frank B. Cerrato and Raymond Cerrato; her nephew John "Jack" Cerrato; her niece Victoria DeMichele Greco; and her friend Walter.
She is survived by: her children, Doreene Zalenski of Cheshire, Thomas Zalenski (Jill VanSlooton) of Burlington and Jeannie Zalenski-Boucher (Mark) of Plantsville; her grandchildren, Ben Zalenski Boucher, Danielle Zalenski and Christopher Zalenski; and her sister Rose DeMichele (family: Louis, Carol Pasqualone, Jessica Carmody, John Carmody, Haditha Pineado, Magda, Paul Magnotta). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and cherished friends.
