He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Zychowski (Prentice); his parents, Felix Zychowski and Mary Zychowski; and his brother Leonard Zychowski. He is survived by: his children, Debra Kumkowski (Michael) of Cheshire, Robin Zychowski (Marlene) of Barrington, NH and David Zychowski (Michele) of Naugatuck; his grandchildren, Lisa McGinn (James), Laura Ely (Micky), Matthew R. Zychowski, Lara C. Zychowski and Emma A. K. Zychowski; his great grandchildren, Sadie, Kinley and Lucas Ely; and his sister Tosi Kilar (Antoinette). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
