He was predeceased by: his father Qixiao Guo. He is survived by: his spouse Birong Su; his children, Yaya and Jason Guo; his mother Jiaying Fang; his siblings, Songqing Guo, Jine Guo and Cuie Guo; his nephews, Changtai Guo and Huan; and his niece Yu Liu.
He will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and outstanding contributions to biomedical science and patient care.
