He was predeceased by : his sister Beverly Dickenson of Antioch, CA.. He is survived by : his wife Sue Chatfield of Cheshire; his former life partner Joan C. Afman of Tequesta, FL; his sisters, Ruth Muir of Toccoa, GA and Barbara Vickers of San Carlos, CA; his children, Dane Afman of Silver Spring, MD, Melinda Shoals of Bedford, NH, Heather Wichman (James Wichman) of Southington, CT and Sarah Beckman (Mark Beckman) of Granville, MA; and his stepson Jeffrey Foote (Colleen Foote) of Meriden, CT. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
