He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Fagan (Hagood); his parents, Vincent Fagan and Helen Fagan (Connolly); his son Joseph Fagan; and his siblings, Peter Fagan, Terrance Fagan, Patricia Kofsuske and Letitia Holleran.
He is survived by: his sons, John Fagan II (Christine) of Plainville and Shawn Fagan (Anh) of West Hartford; his grandchildren, Emily, Michael and Karen Fagan; and his sister Mary Brainard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
