We announce the death of John A. Gabriel of Cheshire, Connecticut, who passed away on July 29, 2026, at the age of 67. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Gabriel and Vincenza Gabriel (Celello). He is survived by: his significant other Robert A. Young of Cheshire; his sisters, Michaelina Wasilewski of Derby, Carmella Correia (James Sr.) of Seymour and Judyann Barton (Jeffrey) of Wallingford; his nieces and nephews, Melanie Wasilewski, Michael Wasilewski, James Correia Jr. (Gina Eosco), Meaghan Correia, Jennifer Scanlon (Daniel) and Matthew Barton; his great-nieces, Olivia, Makenna, Claire and Nora; and his great-nephew Caleb.
