It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Smardin of Cheshire, Connecticut, born in New York, New York, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Smardin and Molly Smardin; and his sister Toby Smardin. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Smardin; his children, Adam Smardin (Kim) and Jill Mahan (Brendan); his grandchildren, Abigail, Connor and Charlie Smardin; and his brother Allan Smardin (Linda).
