He was predeceased by: his siblings, Colette King of Iowa and Peter Hurd of Florida. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hurd (DeRose); his children, Carrie Kall (Richard) of East Hampton and Ken Hurd (Melissa) of Berlin; his grandchildren, Conor, Carly Bemis, Phoebe, Nate and Ethan Hurd; and his sister Ruth Hurd of Michigan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
