She was predeceased by: her husband Robert J. Burns; her parents, Richard J. Boyle and Elizabeth Boyle (Fitzgerald); and her sister Mary Jane Boyle. She is survived by: her children, Robert J. Burns Jr. (Cathy) of Terryville, CT, Patrick J. Burns (Nancy) of Winston Salem, NC, Matthew F. Burns (Jennifer) of Newtown, CT, Mary Jane Burns (Greg Little) of Kiawah Island, SC and Ann B. Cannon (John) of Waldwick, NJ.. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
