Kenneth Duggan Backman Obituary

We bid farewell to Kenneth Duggan Backman of Cheshire, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 7, 2025 at the age of 77. Kenneth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Backman and Rita Backman (Duggan); and his siblings, Dr. Karen Backman and Kevin Backman (Janet). He is survived by: his wife Lauren McNeil Backman; his daughters, Dr. Ainsley Backman and Ashleigh Backman; his brothers, Keith Backman (Shayleen) and Kris Backman (Sharilee); and his brothers-in-law, Craig McNeil (Amy) and Edward McNeil (Alexis). He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Homes - Cheshire (615 S Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410). A rosary was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 5:15 PM at the Alderson Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire (615 S Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410). A Mass was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bridget of Sweden Church (175 Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410).
