It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucille A. Handle of Cheshire, Connecticut, who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Lucille leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Erardi and Mary Erardi; her sisters, Mary Ann Branciforte and Gloria Dawson; and her brother-in-law Edward Branciforte.
She is survived by: her children, Debra A. Guarino (Vincent), Sharon M. Famiglietti (Frank) and George L. Handle. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren; as well as her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home (615 S Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Bridget of Sweden Parish (175 Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410).
