We announce the death of Marilyn A. Kosis (Cheshire, Connecticut), who passed away on October 9, 2026, at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her husband Benny Kosis; her parents, George Kent and Esther Kent (Jackson); her brother Lawrence Kent (Cindy); and her sister-in-law Ruth Kent.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Clapp (Chris Michaud) and Janet Clapp (Rich Clark); her grandchildren, Serena Clapp-Clark and Gabriel Clapp-Clark (Megan); and her brothers, David Kent (Lynne) and Arthur Kent (Art).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home (615 S Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Expressions of affection in lieu of flowers may be made as contributions to one's own church or a women's shelter of one's choosing.
