He was predeceased by: his mother Teonila "Kito" Martinez (Fernandez). He is survived by: his father Miguel Juan; his children, Michael Edward Martinez of Cheshire, CT, Alyson Millares (E. J.) of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Carin Lopez (Brian) of Cheshire, CT, Molly Martinez (Manning Rothrock) of Nashville, TN and Dr. Jane Martinez of Fairfax, VA.; his siblings, Robert Martinez (Ann) of Wallingford, CT and Marilyn Zanetto (William) of Irvington, NY; his girlfriend Gail Spencer of Roxbury, CT.; and his grandchildren, Sophia Covel (Tim) of Boston, MA, Ava Millares of New York, NY, Mia Millares of Washington, D. C., Helene, Connor and Ryan Lopez of Cheshire, CT.. He is also survived by father to his children, a compassionate brother and a fun-loving grandfather.
