He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Benedict (Ross) and Howard M. Benedict; his former wife Marjorie A. Benedict (Eggerding); and his brother Howard M. Benedict, Jr. (Ruth). He is survived by: his son Norman R. Benedict, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Kathy Benedict (VanOoteghem); his grandsons, Caleb J. Benedict (Yasmeen Moukaddem) and Norman R. Benedict, III; and his nephews, Howard III, Craig, Roger and Scott Benedict. He is also survived by spouses, children, and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cheshire Lutheran Church (660 W Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cheshire Lutheran Church in his name.
