He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Richard and Gladys Richard (French); and his siblings, George Richard, Sr., Leon Richard and Carol Santoro.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Richard; his son Brian Richard (Jamie); his grandchildren, Jaxon and Skylar of Wolcott; his daughter Cheryl Richard; his son-in-law Brian Chamberlain; his grandchildren, Jordan and Jason of Wolcott; and his brother Louis Sr. (Josephine). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
