Raymond J. Fortier Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Raymond J. Fortier of Cheshire, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Raymond has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Romeo Fortier and Elaine Fortier (Bernier); and his brother Roland Fortier. He is survived by: his children, Michael Fortier (Maria), Peter Fortier (Linda Hart), Steven Fortier, Susanne Fortier and Paul Fortier (Jennifer Charette); and his nephew Jeffrey Fortier of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
