It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raynor Wade Andersen of Cheshire, Connecticut, who passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Karla Andersen (Scholz); and his parents, Haakon Jarrel and Olive Andersen (Wade). He is survived by: his children, William Andersen of Lewiston, ME, Debbie Andersen of Elizabeth, CO, John Simmon of Newington, Steven Simmon of Newington and Jeff Simmon (Kelli) of Glastonbury; his grandchildren, Jocelyn Contant, Johnny, Jack and Jenna Simmon; and his brothers, Paul Andersen (Ana) of Long Island, NY and David Andersen (Alice) of Stamford.
