With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard J Ardolino of Cheshire, Connecticut, who passed away on August 4, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ardolino and Anna Cerrone Ardolino; and his sister Margaret Candido. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Proto Ardolino; his children, Elizabeth "Betsy" Godin (John), Robert Ardolino (Michele) and Susan Ardolino (Carl Viens); his grandsons, Christopher Godin (Kayla Russo) and Mitchell Godin (Holly); his great grandchild Theodore Godin; and his caregiver Simon.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Barnabas Church (44 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven, CT 06473, or to the Wounded Warrior Project, 330 7 th Avenue, Suite 1802, New York, NY 10001.
