It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen Ushchak of Cheshire, Connecticut, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Ushchak and Mary Ushchak (Heresko); his siblings, Theodore Ushchak and Mildred Parian (Thomas); and his sister-in-law Genevieve Ushchak.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Gladys Rowe; his children, Mark Ushchak (Eileen) of Colchester, John Ushchak (Silvana) of Plantsville and Gladys Ushchak of East Hampton; his grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, Joslyn, Kayleigh, Nathan and Trevor Ushchak; his brother Walter Ushchak of East Haven; and his sister-in-law Rose Ushchak of Cheshire.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Homes - Cheshire (615 S Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bridget of Sweden Parish – St. Bridget (175 Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410). A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the Rose Hill Memorial Park (580 Elm St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
