The memory of Charlotte Tietjen (Clinton, Connecticut), who passed away on October 18, 2025 at the age of 97, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Charlotte may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charlotte touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Fred Tietjen. She is survived by: her children, Russell David Tietjen of Higganum, Debra Diane Tietjen-Smith of Westbrook and Kurt Tietjen of North Haven; her grandchildren, Kurt Aaron Tietjen, Autumn Ashley Tietjen, Austin Harry Tietjen and Garrett William Smith; and her great-niece Madeline. She is also survived by other family members and many friends.
