With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothee Gilbert of Clinton, Connecticut, born in Meriden, Connecticut, who passed away on November 20, 2022 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothee Gilbert to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Madelyn Tierney and William Tierney; her daughter Janice Hopkins; her son-in-law Mark; her granddaughters, Paige Hopkins, Hannah and Sophie Cote; her siblings, Donald, Raymond Tierney, Lynn Eudy and Micki Taylor; and her son-in-law Worth Apgar.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Gilbert; and her children, Gail Apgar of Clinton and Jay Gilbert (Linda) of Tariffville. She is also survived by seven loving grandchildren and nine and a half great grandchildren, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude or your favorite charity.
