He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Scott and Harriet Scott (Palm); his wife Loris Scott; his son Ronald Scott Jr.; and his siblings, Noel Scott and Fanny Scott.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gloria Scott of Pennsylvania, Teresa Beckwith of Kentucky, Doreen Edwards of Kentucky and Lynn Mustaro (Kevin) of Clinton. He is also survived by his five brothers, four sisters, ten grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
