He is survived by: his wife Rita Carson Patten; his children, Colleen (Ernie Golnik) and Ben II (Laurie) of Troy, NY.; and his grandchildren, Amanda Goyer (Andrew) of Cohoes, N. Y. and Brett Patten (Sabrina) of Atlanta, GA..
