She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kessler and Gladys Kessler (Sterzing); her sister Judy Coppens; and her brother-in-law William MacDonald. She is survived by: her husband Richard Plaza; and her siblings-in-law, Susan MacDonald and Harry Coppens. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
A procession was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home (167 Old Hartford Rd, Colchester, CT 06415). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rose Hill Memorial Park (580 Elm St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067).
