He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Baier, and Helen Baier, Sr. (Pukas); his wife Patricia M. Williamson; his children, Richard Baier (Angela Maple) of Colchester, VT and Lisa Castle (Roy) of Scotland, CT; and his grandchildren, Thomas and Abigail Castle.
