He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Brown and Dorothy Brown (Palmer); his sons, Jeffery Brown and Robert Brown; and his sister Janice Adams.

He is survived by: his close friend Patricia Dawson; his children, Jonathan Brown of Colchester, Karen Hutchins (Thomas) of Colchester, Kevin Brown (Christina) of Colchester and Debbi Hockman (David) of Spring Grove, PA; and his daughters-in-law, Heidi Brown of Windsor Locks and Donna Brown of Colchester. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
