He was predeceased by: his parents, John Barrett and Marion-Louise Hoban Barrett (Lathrop). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hoban; his son Bruce Hoban (Meg) of Hebron; his grandson Lance Corporal Joseph Hoban; and his sisters, Claire Gibson (Herman "Doc) of Arkansas and Dolly Maikshilo of Arkansas. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Aurora McCarthy Funeral Home (167 Old Hartford Rd, Colchester, CT 06415). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
