With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph W. Cimino of Colchester, Connecticut, who passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joseph leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cimino and Angelina Cimino (Cappello); his wife Lorraine D. Lentini; his son Joseph W. Cimino III; and his granddaughter Kristen J. Oppelt.
He is survived by: his children, Michael J. Cimino, Julie A. Bissonnette and Laurie J. Cimino; and his grandchildren, Matthew R. Bissonnette, Jared C. Oppelt and Sarah K. Oppelt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
