Richard John Hardy Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Richard John Hardy of Colchester, Connecticut. Richard, born on December 15, 1941, passed away on September 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Sasek Hardy and Charles Hardy; his brothers, Tom Hardy and Steve Hardy; and his sister-in-law Joyce Vibert Holsing.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Charles Hardy (Alaina Bexton Hardy) of Berlin, MA and Bryce Drake Hardy (Kerri Lallier Hardy) of Wethersfield, CT; his grandchildren, Jackson John Hardy, Annabelle Danielle Hardy and Charlotte Colleen Hardy; and his pet Wilgus (Gus).
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the State Veterans Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
