He is survived by: his wife Marguerita; his children, Diane Erlingeuser (David), Catherine Thorson (Jim), Joan Villegas (Jorge), Barbara Ferrone, Stephen Salerno (Deana) and Thomas Salerno (Corinne); his grandchildren, Matthew, Christy, Jeffrey, Andrew, Emily, Eric, Sarah, Christopher, Cooper, Michelle and Elizabeth; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Ariana, Zoey, Sophia, Natalia, Mia, Nico, Hannah, Oaklynne and Matthew Jr.; and his brother Richard Salerno.
