He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Salerno and Elizabeth Salerno. He is survived by: his wife Marguerita; his children, Diane Erlingeuser (David), Catherine Thorson (Jim), Joan Villegas (Jorge), Barbara Ferrone, Stephen Salerno (Deana) and Thomas Salerno (Corinne); his grandchildren, Matthew, Christy, Jeffrey, Andrew, Emily, Eric, Sarah, Christopher, Cooper, Michelle and Elizabeth; and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Ariana, Zoey, Sophia, Natalia, Mia, Nico, Hannah, Oaklynne and Matthew Jr..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home - Ct (134 Hamilton Ave, Greenwich, CT 06830). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena (4 Riverside Ave, Riverside, CT 06878). The inurnment will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at the St. Mary's Cemetery (1 High St, Rye Brook, NY 10573).
