Anton Joseph Hierl Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2025, at the age of 89, Anton Joseph Hierl of Coventry, Connecticut, born in Newark, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Hierl and Anton Hierl; and his wife Carol. He is survived by: his sons, David (Rose) of Coventry, CT and James (Jackie) of Somerville, NJ; his grandchildren, Karic, Cassandra, Aidan, Luca, Konnor and Allie; and his siblings, Peter (Rosemary) of Union, NJ, Barbara Dean (Robert) of Bolton, CT and Agnes (Fred) of Franklin Square, NY. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home (400 Main St, Manchester, CT 06040). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew's Church (111 Tolland Grn, Tolland, CT 06084).
