He was predeceased by: his parents, Apostolos Gitsis and Glykeria Gitsis; and his siblings, Katina, Sevasti, Zoe, Thanasis and Theodoros.
He is survived by: his wife Christina; his children, Georgia Salinsky (Adam), Candy Hyatt, Paul Gitsis of Jimmy's Pizza House and Nektaria Hart (Darryl); his grandchildren, Kristina Ferretti (Anthony), Marina Chevalier (John), George Zoghbi, Alexandra Salinsky, Julia Salinsky, Thomas Salinsky, Nicholas Provost, Zachary Provost, Christopher Provost, Seth Hart and Riley Hart; his great grandchildren, Chase Banning and Mira Sweney; his brother Nikolas Gitsis (Fani); and his godson Michael Santos.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home (551 Talcottville Rd, Vernon, CT 06066).
